Africa Deluxe Tours Fish Hoek & False Bay

Cape Peninsula

Cape Town is situated on the Cape Peninsula. In 1580, Sir Francis Drake described the Cape Peninsula as "The most stately thing and the fairest Cape we saw in the whole circumference of the earth". The southern end of the Peninsula is the most Southwestern point of the African continent, known as Cape Point. In between Cape Town and the spectacular Cape Point a variety of small fishing and seaside villages, as well as other attractions are spread out. Most of them are connected by scenic coastal drives as well as a variety of top-notch beaches.

A unique feature of greater Cape Town is the inclusion, within the metropolis's boundaries, of large pristine natural areas under formal conservation.

A visit to Cape town must include a day tour of the Cape Peninsula with stops at Hout Bay (with a trip to Seal Island), the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point, the Boulders Penguin Colony and Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. After doing this tour you can claim that you have visited the most beautiful Southwesterly point of the continent of Africa!
