background

Why
we broker coach charters |
|
Because
there's a need in the market... Africa
Deluxe Tours (Afrilux)* does not own its own coaches.
However, as tour
operator* we obviously charter coaches from time to time.
It became clear to us, in our interactions with others in
the industry, that there is a need in the market for |
|
coach
charter brokers*
and thus we entered the fray. We have an extensive database
of, and relationships with, various coach charter providers.
This positions us perfectly to act as broker i.t.o. coach
charters. |
| |
How
our relationship with coach operators work |
|
In
terms of coach charters, Africa
Deluxe Tours'* function is that of marketing and introducing
buyer and supplier to each other. In return we require a 10%
commission of the eventual contract value from successful
bidders (i.e. the operator eventualy contracted by the buyer),
which coach operators |
|
mostly
view as a marketing expense. Africa
Deluxe Tours* will not be party to any agreements or contracts
between buyers and bidders. We make no guarentees and our
involvement only goes as far as introducing a willing buyer
and seller. |
| |
Coach
charter suppliers currently on our tender list |
( The
Southern African coach charter operators to whom notice are
given when we*
invite tenders for a potential contract are listed below.
If your company, or one of its branches, does not appear on
the list then fill out the registration form lower down) |

Please
take note:
We value good service to customers very highly. In Feb 2001,
on one of our own tours, we had the unfortunate experience
of a coach operator who did nothing to rectify a broken aircon
unit in a Mercedes Sprinter (in spite of numerous requests
from our side), even though litres of water was pouring down
on the back seat passengers at times! The operator in question
has been blacklisted in our company records and will never
be approached by us again. |
