Mayday* membership. In case of a breakdown an AA technical
unit will be dispatched. If required Avis will send out a replacement
vehicle. In case of an injury, evacuation to a medical facility

 Your
car rental includes unlimited kilometres/ mileage. No
extra charge per kilometre will be
added to your daily rental, no matter what distance you travel.
Your only responsibility is not to run out of fuel!

| Your
rental includes Avis' Maximum (100%), Super (95%) or Standard
Cover insurance (cdw & tlw). With the exception of
Maximum (100%) coverage (when available), an excess
payment will be payable in case of theft of, or damage to,
your rental vehicle (excess amounts are indicated together
with rental rates). Insurance cover is subject to the following:
- the driver
at the time of the accident should be listed in the Avis
rental agreement (apart from the primary driver others may
be authorised for driving at a small per person
surcharge).
- The renter
will be responsible for damages if the vehicle was driven
on unsuitable roads, if the renter was driving negligently
or if no other car, animal or object was involved.
- Avis will
claim full damages where an accident/theft is due to gross
negligence.
- Avis will
claim full damages where driver was driving under the influence
of alcohol or drugs having a narcotic effect

Avis
personal accident insurance covers the driver as well as all
other passengers for accidental bodily injury while driving,
riding in, getting into or out of the Avis vehicle. Coverage
is in effect up to "return date" indicated on the
Rental Agreement or any Avis approved extension. Cover amounts

rental also includes insurance against accidental windscreen
breakage (excluding 4x4 vehicles). Should a breakage occur you
can simply contact the Avis customer care line and arrangements
will be made for it to be replaced free of charge. |

 Optional
extra. Phone rental is free but you are required to pay a
nominal daily fee (±R6.00) for the unit's insurance.
Call charges are for your account. A
telephone number can be allocated, on request, to you before
your departure. However, if you have international roaming
activated on your own cell phone we recommend using your own
phone.

The
Avis Luxury Fleet is only available in South
Africa* and includes a range of luxury convertibles, sedans
and SUV's. On renting a vehicle from the luxury fleet you

meet & greet - delivery & collection
|
|
When
arriving at a South
African airport*, on entering through the arrivals gate
an Avis representative, dressed in black (not the traditional
Avis red) will be there to meet you. He/she will accompany
you to your car and finalise any remaining rental formalities
with you there and then, quickly and efficiently. You may
also request an alias to be used on the hand-held call board
/ sign the Avis rep will be using for your meet & greet.
The delivery service is free of charge if you fly into Johannesburg*,
Durban*
or Cape
Town Airports*, and the collection as well if booked for
the same airport (all other locations, for delivery and collection,
priced on quotation basis - replaces "one-way fee"
of standard fleet). On departure from an airport a similarly
dressed Avis representative will meet you in the appropriate
Departures Hall (will be confirmed with you on delivering
your vehicle to you).
For hotel deliveries
or collections the representative from Avis will request the
reception desk or concierge to call your room. Deliveries
and collections to/from other accommodation establishments,
offices, etc. can also be arranged.

Luxury
Fleet vehicles feature a CD player with 6x CD-shuttle.On booking
your vehicle on our*
site you may indicate your preferred music style (classic,
pop, ethnic or rock). A small collection of CD's from that
genre will be included in your car rental. If you particularly
like any of the CD's you may take them home with you and Avis
will simply bill your credit card for the cost thereof.

Your
vehicle is delivered to you with bottled water included to
keep you well hydrated.
You will also
be provided with an Avis 24-hour contact number, valid for
the duration of your rental, to ensure that you receive the
best personal service throughout.
