In the tourism industry the term transfer is used to indicate the transport of clients from point A to B. It is most commonly used in regard to so-called airport transfers, that is the transport of clients from an airport to their hotel and vice versa. The term also indicates that this is not a guided tour -element of a tour itinerary. The sole purpose of a transfer is to transport clients (on time), there's no entertainment involved in transfers!
