As the name indicates Southern Africa refers to the Southern region of the African Continent. Southern Africa should not be confused with South Africa, the latter is an independent republic falling within the former (the region). Other countries in the region include: Two female lions rest in the shadeLesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Angola and the Indian Ocean islands of Madagascar, Mauritius, Comoros and Seychelles.

We believe Southern Africa to be one of the world's most extraordinary tourism regions. There is really something for everyone. It will literary take years to explore everything the region has to offer. The variety of destination types is truly impressive. Tourists from across the world travel to Southern Africa to experience its extraordinary wildlife, its rich cultural diversity and breath taking scenic beauty. However, for the more commercially orientated there are entertainment parks, casinos and huge shopping centres.
