- The Riverside Mall -

Overview
The Riverside Mall in Nelspruit is the largest shopping centre / mall in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. The Mall is located in Nelspruit, click here for more info on the town.It is also linked to the next-door Emnotweni Casino. It is a medium sized mall with just over a hundred shops as well as a Nu Metro movie house. Shops include coffee shops & restaurants, fashion stores (branded as well as general), book shops, outdoor shops, leather goods, jewelry, music stores, luggage, curios, banks, photo developing, chemists, toys, etc. Ample free parking is available. It’s the best shopping option in Mpumalanga. However, if you are serious about shopping and are planning on touring elsewhere in South Africa, click here to have a look at some of the bigger shopping centres on offer in South Africa (some of them are huge).

Entertainment options
Emnotweni Casino (next-door and linked to the Mall); Nu Metro - movie house (mostly main stream, no nouveau movies here); Sweets from Heaven (for unhealthy sweet stuff for your children).

For restaurants & coffee shops we recommend
Café Rossini (European styled coffee shop); Detroit Spur (American styled family hamburger & steak house); Juicy Lucy (healthy food and juice, informal); London Pie (informal, pies…); MacRib (family steak house specialising in delicious ribs); Nandos (informal Portuguese style spicy chicken - also take-away); Seattle Coffee (for coffee & cake while browsing through magazines or books from the adjoining Exclusive Books).

Some of the shops we can recommend are
Cape Union Mart (for outdoor stuff like safari clothing, hiking boots, etc.); Earth Bound (leather products); Exclusive Books (top bookshop chain in South Africa, browse through books or magazines in adjoining Seattle Coffee); Incredible Books (not bad but try Exclusive Books first); Foto First (1 hour photo development); Musica (music CD's including South African artists); Pakwells (luggage store should you need to replace a suitcase or similar item); Arthur Kaplan (jewelry); Mr. Price (if you're looking for very really cheap clothes).
