Semi-industrial styled glass domes are one of the architectural features of The Pavilion Shopping Centre.

Attracting more than one million shoppers a month The Pavilion is one of South Africa's main shopping centres. Only 15 minutes from Durban's city centre, it is a great place for engaging in some serious shopping. The centre has ±230 shops including general convenience stores, curio & gift shops, jewellers, fashion outlets & boutiques, hair stylists, forex dealers, hobby shops, sports shops, surf shops, computer outlets and pharmacies. It has a wide range of restaurants and coffee shops and also features 6 NuMetro cinemas. There's an extensive entertainment centre for the young ones, or the young at heart. Entertainment options include a ten-pin bowling alley, a mainstream movie house and games arcade. A small selection of shops that we recommend: Restaurants & coffee shops: Brazilian Coffee Shop (informal & relaxed), House of Coffees (wide variety of coffees and complementing menu), Juicy Lucy (juice bar, salads, etc.), Kansas Spur (American styled value for money family steakhouse), King Pie (take-away pies), MacRib (great ribs and steaks), Nando's (spicy Portuguese style chicken, mostly take-away with simple sit-down option as well), Pizza Hut (as known around the world) Bookshops: Exclusive Books (excellent collection of local and international books, magazines and newspapers) Music: Look & Listen (comprehensive collection of music CD's & DVD's), Musica (CD's & DVD's) Safari clothing and gear: Cape Union Mart Luggage: Frasers Map resources: AA of South Africa Indian spices: Gorimas Spice Shop Health & beauty: Health Life Health Shop, The Body Shop Fashion and clothing: There's a wide collection of chain, boutique and branded fashion stores to explore. For cheap clothes head to Mr Price. Internet: Unreal Internet Café. The Centre is well signposted and located directly next to the N3 Highway near Westville. The general business hours for the centre is from 09:00 to 17:00 seven days a week while restaurants and other entertainment services are available until late at night. With 6 000 parking bays there's ample parking, even on very busy days.
