The NSA Gallery,
located in tranquil Bulwer Park - Durban,
is home to the Natal Society for Arts (NSA).
The NSA recently moved to its current facilities in a custom designed modernistic
building. The building includes exhibition spaces, a shop, an adjoining
playground for the kids and a restaurant serving drinks and light meals.
While it features the work of many of South
Africa's top artists the Gallery also provides a sample of the rich
diversity of KwaZulu Natal art
and craft.
The shop offers an eclectic range of quality articles gleaned from the African continent. It also offers a colourful forum for local craftspeople and artists. Shop displays change regularly and include ceramics, fibre art, basketware, jewellery, resin sculpture, metalwork, glassware, textiles and wooden artifacts.
