Monkeyland is located in The Crags (Garden Route), ±17km east of Plettenberg Bay along the N2 enroute to Nature's Valley and/or Tsitsikamma. It is a sanctuary for previously caged primates offering informative and entertaining tours to members of the public. It aims to conserve, educate and create awareness.

While the facility houses both indigenous and exotic species it is our impression that it is managed on a sound ecological basis. We also appreciate the fact that while the 23-hectare grounds are enclosed, monkeys and apes are not caged but can move around freely within the reserve.
