While the facility houses both indigenous and exotic species it is our impression that it is managed on a sound ecological basis. We also appreciate the fact that while the 23-hectare grounds are enclosed, monkeys and apes are not caged but can move around freely within the reserve. The Monkeyland tour includes walking over a 118m long rope-suspension-bridge spanning a canyon in order to reach the upper reaches of a forest's tree canopy where some species spend almost all of their lives. Monkeyland also features a restaurant and child friendly facilities and services. Some of our tours* include a visit to Monkeyland, otherwise we will gladly work it into an itinerary if so requested.
