Kruger offers a wildlife
experience that ranks with the best in Africa. It is unrivalled in the
diversity of its wildlife and a world leader in advanced environmental
management techniques and policies. Truly the flagship of the South
Africa's national parks,
Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 tree, 49 fish,
34 amphibian, 114 reptile, 507 bird and 147 mammal including the
big five (elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard and lion). The conservation services endeavour to preserve natural ecosystems in the most pristine state possible. This not only implies that the full range of animal and plant species and their habitats are protected, but also that ecological processes are allowed to take their course (droughts, high rainfall and in some instances even disease). Africa Deluxe Tours provide various guided and self-drive tours that include Kruger in the itinerary, follow the "tours & safaris" link to our website at the bottom of this page for more info on available tours.
