- God's Window -
Visitors take in the amazing view at God's Window on the Mpumalanga Escarpment - South Africa
The Mpumalanga Escarpment & Lowveld as seen from God's Window.

The "rainforest" path at God's Window in Mpumalanga - South AfricaGod's Window, part of the popular Panorama Route, is a view point on the Mpumalanga Escarpment with beautiful vistas of the Lowveld below. It is located not far from Graskop and is definitely worth a visit. God's Window is clearly signposted from the R534. It's a 50m walk from the car park to the edge of the escarpment.

There are various viewing platforms linked by paved footpaths. For the more energetic there is also a "rainforest" circular trail meandering through the thicket on the lip of the mostly moist escarpment. Members of the local rural community trade handmade curios from permanent stalls next to the car park.
