The term broker is mostly used on this website in terms of travel products, e.g. tours, car rentals, flights, coach services*, etc. Africa Deluxe Tours is both a tour operator and broker.

When we handle all the aspects of creating and managing a tour for clients, such as accommodation bookings, transport arrangements, itinerary compilation, tourist guide selection, etc. we are acting as operators (also see definition of tour operator).

However, in some cases we can arrange better service and prices to our clients by "contracting" or sourcing a service or packaged product from a third party - normally at preferential / reduced rates well below that of the third party's public rates. Where we act as intermediary between our clients and such a third party we are acting as tour broker. On our website the term is used in its broadest term and may also include the function of tour re-seller /tour wholesaler.
