| Most
of our clients become good friends.
This is because we* provide a very personalised
service. We meet clients on arrival at the airport (self-drive*
clients included). Before that we normally have a lot of email correspondence
compiling itineraries for custom tour clients. Indicative of the
kind of relationship we have with our clients is the fact that many
of them keep corresponding with us long after having returned home.
What
follows below is a selection of mostly post-tour emails that we
have received.
Most letters include personal references to discussions/ experiences
we've had together. We edit letters and "..." indicates
sentences or paragraphs that have been cut. In order to protect
the privacy of our clients we stick to first names. We have contact
details for all of these clients in our database. Should you wish
to contact any of them you can request us to enquire from them whether
they are available for such correspondence. |

| Itinerary:
This family group did an upmarket 9 day tour. Tim & Karen were
received by a company representative, Alan, at the airport. He looked
after them for the next 24-hours and also did a city tour with them.
The following day their children, Heather and Doug arrived from
London. Mike Smuts, MD of Africa
Deluxe Tours*, met the four of them at the airport. He enjoyed
a cup of coffee with them as they went over their itinerary*
together and chatted about South
Africa* and the tour days ahead. From there they flew into the
the world-class Mala Mala big 5 game reserve*. After three days
of the excellent game viewing they headed for the capital city of
Pretoria to link up with the world renowned luxury Blue Train for
a two day, one night, journey to Cape
Town*. In the Mother City they were hosted by botany and wine
expert, Claude Felbert. They experienced all the highlights this
magnificent area has to offer including: Table
Mountain*, the Cape
Winelands* (and wine
tasting*), the Cape
Peninsula*, etc. |

Mike, Just a short note to say thank you for the excellent service

Deluxe Tours* provided to our group in the first two weeks of
April. The overall strategic planning for the trip was excellent
and every detail was attended to perfectly. We enjoyed Mala Mala,
The Blue Train and the various tours in Cape
Town* tremendously.

Shalini and Pablo did a mostly upmarket 2 week self-drive
tour*. They were received by a company representative, Elben,
at the airport who went over their programme and map with them,
over a cup of coffee, and then assisted them in collecting their
rental car. The couple toured Mpumalanga, the Panorama
Route* and the Kruger
Park*. From the Kruger they flew to Port
Elizabeth* and the Garden
Route*. The Garden
Route* took them to the Cape
Winelands* and they ended with a couple of days in Cape
Town*. |

Dear Yvonne and Mike,
It is
more than a week now that I returned from my holidays in South
Africa*. In the meantime I have already been traveling again,
a trip to Stockholm in Sweden (which was a real shock therapy indeed
- from S.A. summer to the freezing cold of Scandinavian winter!).
I wanted to thank you all once again ... for your perfect organization
of my trip (I never had any problems whatsoever with hotel, flight
or car reservations) .... I will certainly recommend your company
to any of my friends or colleagues intending to travel to South
Africa*, and it goes without saying that I would approach you
again should I ever plan another trip to South
Africa* or another country in the region. In case you are planning
to distribute advertising material or news/updates/offers on traveling
in your region I would be grateful to receive it. I wish you all
merry Christmas and a successful and accident-free start to the

wanted to visit the southern most point of Africa (Agulhas) - which

Mary and I would like to express our many thanks to each of you
for the perfectly delightful experience you so graciously provided
us in South
Africa*. South
Africa* was without doubt the highlight of our Round the World
trip and is the country we continue to praise to all our friends...
Again, we were very much impressed with your country, your services
and the exceptional skills, talents and knowledge of Claude and
Cheryl.
Claude, we are very much in your debt for the knowledge you passed
to us relative to your country and your avocations of flora, fauna
and wines. South African wine is very difficult to find in our part
of the country. Thus, We have ordered a case of wine from the Simonsig
Estates and are anxiously awaiting its arrival.
There are so many additional sights we would like to see that we
have both decided that another trip to South
Africa* is necessary but probably won't happen for another 5
years or so. We also had the pleasure to meet a charming couple
from Knysna*
on our tour of New Zealand. Deter has encouraged us to bring golf
clubs on our next trip which we just may do. The golf course we
observed in George was just beautiful.

Demet, Damla and their 11 year old daughter did a 9 day guided tour
including Lesedi Cultural Village, Sun City & nearby Pilanesberg
Game Reserve (Cascades Hotel) and 5 days in Cape
Town* (stayed in local guest house which accepts young children).
In Cape
Town* they did a half-day city orientation tour, a full day
tour of the Cape
Peninsula* including Hout
Bay* and Cape Point and a full day Winelands tour. |

Dear Yvonne and Mike,
We are
safely back to our country after having a wonderful time in South
Africa*. We have seen magnificent places, more to it, - I do
not know whether we were lucky- but we met with wonderful people
and believe that the people are contributing a lot to the beauties
so they are making the difference.

I'm back
in Switzerland. Our trip in Sun City was great; we had plenty of
sun the first week and we spent the day in the wonderful pool of
the hotel. It was really a pleasant journey, very relax. Next holidays
will be in November. I'll contact you if we choose South

The daughter in the family, Samantha, toured South
Africa* together with her school's hockey team. The family toured
the country and region before and during the school tour in such
a way as to see the most of "Sam" as the children attend
boarding school in the UK and are separated from their parents for
long periods of time. |

returning home:
Dear All,
I returned
to HK last night after having spent a hectic week in UK getting
Sam and Paul ready for the new School term. I would like to thank
you all for what must have been, the hard work and enthusiasm you
put in to organizing our SA holiday. We all had a brilliant time
and really enjoyed everything we did and saw. We couldn't stop talking
about it!! The photos are great too! Both Mick and I said that we
would love to go back( possibly bringing some friends) in maybe
2002/3. There are things we would want to do again and see more
of. I would certainly not hesitate in working with you again to
organize another trip, or in recommending your company to others
... Once again, thanks for all your help, it was very much appreciated.
